Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) List of Admitted & Reserve Candidates for 65th Regular Course - The candidates whose names appear below were successful at the Armed Forces Selection Board held at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) from 29 June - 9 August 2013. The candidates have been offered admission into NDA for the 65th Regular Course. They are to report for training at the NDA (Permanent Site), Kaduna on 21 September 2013 . Any candidate who fails to report by 23 September 2013 will forfeit his or her place to a candidate on the reserve list.

Selected candidates will be received on arrival at the Reception Centre located at the Academy Parade Ground (Permanent Site).

Candidates on the reserve list are NOT to report to the Academy until they are invited.

Selected candidates MUST come along with the ORIGINAL copies of their School Certificate Results (NECO/WAEC) , and other credentials which include First School Leaving Certificate, Primary School Testimonial Junior/Senior Secondary School Testimonials, Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age and Parents' / Guardians Consent Form and Letter of Attestation as to State of Origin.

Responsibilities:
Provide support in planning the completion design to achieve Best in Class performance and production rate in Bonga Southwest and Bonga North projects while championing strong HSE culture. The Bonga South Wells and Bonga North completion design vary from single zone Cased Hole Frac Pack wells to triple zone Smart Completion.
Ensure process safety considerations are fully embedded in the planning and design.
Define the completion cost and schedule estimate appropriate to the project phase using SNEPCo internal, regional and global data for top quartile benchmarks.
Provide Support to completions input to various project deliverables and control documents- including but not limited to Field Development Plan, Basis for Design, Value Improvement plan, Management of Change, Well Proposals, Environmental Impact Assessment, Risk and Opportunity register, Interface management.
Provide support to the SNEPCo Completion Design Standard to ensure standardization of well concept and interchangeability of equipment across the project.
Establish and maintain data and information management systems as necessary
Provide support to various technical tenders, develop the technical specification and progress the following specialized tenders from tender initiation to contract award: Intelligent Wells products and services, Expandable Completion products, OCTG Production and Injection Tubing and Sand Exclusion Screens.
Coach and mentor younger CWI staff in the Well Delivery Process in accordance with the Wells Framework.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
Minimum 8-10 years CWI experience with at least 3 years in completions
Drilling/CWI Round I and Round II
Demonstrated success in a technical Deep Water Drilling/CWI position is required
Experience in completion design and programming and the application of DCAF.
Experience in operations logistics and materials
Knowledge of the application of QA/QC processes and procedures.
Experience in floating, deepwater completions and intervention operations.
High level of HSE commitment and awareness.
Good working knowledge and experience with the standard suite of well engineering software including:
-WellCat
-Prosper
Good communication skills in order to fit into a multinational work force.
Good command of the English language, written as well as verbal.
Good report writing, communication skills and PC skills
Good commercial awareness and appreciation of life cycle costing.
An ability to work independently with the minimum of supervision.

Job Description:
An Executive Assistant with at least 4 years experience as Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant to a Managing or Executive Director needed in an Insurance company at Victoria Island urgently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the President's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
  • Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the CEO, some of which may have organizational impact.
  • Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company.
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Arrange the CEO's itineraries and travel plans, etc.
Remuneration
Salary is N2.4 million per annum (and ABOVE depending on experience)
